Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking a Customer Team Leader for our Billingborough store on a permanent, full-time basis (39 hours per week plus overtime). You will lead shifts, supervise the team on the shop floor and tills, and help run daily operations including in-store bakery duties.

You will build community links, champion Co-op membership, and deliver excellent service while enjoying benefits such as staff discount, pension contributions, holiday entitlement, and GP access.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
• Experience in retail or team management is beneficial
• You must be aged 18+ to authorise age-related sales

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in-store bakery, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth

Location: 32/34 High Street Gratham, Billingborough, NG34 0QA

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, full time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview.
