Job summary

Co-op Middleton in Teesdale is seeking a Customer Team Leader to guide a small store team on shift, delivering essential community services and great service.

You'll lead by example on the shop floor, support with merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes, and engage with customers and local community partners. This permanent part-time role includes varying shifts and a strong focus on team development.

Job description

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

What you’ll do

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 12-16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview. Role will include working in our in-store bakery
