Co-op UK is looking for a Customer Team Leader in Harrietsham to manage a small team, ensuring excellent service and efficient store operations. The role involves working on the shop floor and tills, with a focus on merchandising, stock accuracy, and community engagement.
You’ll lead by example, motivate staff, and support the delivery of Co-op membership benefits across varied shifts, including early mornings and evenings. The position offers flexible pay and a permanent contract.
As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
You'll keep our shelves stocked and support sales, helping us offer even more choice and exciting new services to our customers. You'll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know your customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities. Plus, you'll be a champion for Co-op membership, helping to drive the growth of our unique business.
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (5.30am opening), afternoons, late evenings (10pm closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview
