Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member for a Barrow-upon-Soar store. The role involves helping customers, stocking shelves, and supporting daily store operations including bakery and in-store services. You will be part of a team delivering friendly service and community-focused initiatives.
The position is part-time (13 hours per week) with regular overtime, working shifts such as 5:30am to 12pm, including weekend days. Training is provided and Co-op membership benefits apply.
As a Customer Team Member, you'll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your community every day. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, or bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
You’ll help keep our shelves stocked and support sales, making sure customers can find what they need. You’ll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know your customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities. Plus, you’ll promote Co‑op membership, helping more customers enjoy the benefits of our unique business.

Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract: 13 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: 5:30am to 12pm, Sunday and Monday, with flexible availability across the week to include at least 1 weekend shift. We're happy to discuss additional availability further at interview. Role will include working in our in‑store bakery
