Part Time Customer Supporter

Millbrook House, Lode Close, Soham, Cambridgeshire, CB7 5WN

£12.70 per hour

24 hours per week: Week 1

Mon, Tues, Fri – 9.30-4pm, Sat, Sun10-1pm. Week 2Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 9.30-4pm



Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Supporter at our Retirement Communities Service, Millbrook House, Soham.

The role of Customer Supporter will include:

-Providing front of house reception duties
-Developing innovative and varied individual and group activities
-Promoting and evaluating activities for customers, enabling them to reach their own potential
-Assisting and encouraging customers to access and maintain a level of integration into the wider community
-Working with other staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment is maintained


Skills and experiences:

-Experience of developing and leading customer involvement activities
-Previous experience working with a similar customer group is desirable
-Good interpersonal and customer care skills
-Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
-Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
-NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
-Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths
