We have an exciting 6 month Temporary opportunity with an immediate start for an experienced customer focussed individual with excellent Administrative skills and experience based in the Maidstone area.

Job Purpose

As a key member of the Customer Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and financial support. You'll be central to supporting the training and development of the workforce, ensuring the smooth operation of a range of essential services.

Key Responsibilities

Training Support

* Coordinate and book internal and external training courses for staff, ensuring compliance with qualification requirements and training schedules.
* Maintain accurate training records using HR systems such as HRIS, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and Development Trackers.
* Forecast training needs by monitoring expiry dates and prerequisites for all courses.
* Collaborate with the Learning & Development and Technical Training & Professionalism teams to support training course administration.
* Generate and present reports using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
* Liaise with partner agencies to organise shared training resources and logistics.

Administrative Support & Customer Engagement

* Act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, ensuring a professional and helpful experience.
* Maintain a welcoming reception area and manage incoming post and parcels.
* Handle incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
* Provide clear guidance to customers on administrative processes and procedures.
* Support the wider team with general administrative duties as needed.

About You

You'll be someone who thrives in a busy environment, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, along with experience in administrative roles-preferably in a training or customer service environment. You must be able to use Excel.

The hours or work are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
