What exactly will you do?

  • Prioritise and process customer requests submitted by telephone or email,
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries quickly and professionally,
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to company compliance standards at all times
  • Learn to use bespoke systems and technology to deliver excellent customer care,
  • Liaise with energy suppliers on behalf of customers to ensure the best possible service,
  • Work collaboratively with the NGP team to support colleagues, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to positive sales results,
  • Communicate with customers as their contract start dates approach to ensure a smooth continuity process tailored to their energy needs,
  • Proactively contact customers ahead of their scheduled energy contracts to ensure seamless changeover
  • Identify additional opportunities for our non-commodity services such as meter operator contracts, metering, water, site works, export, and renewables,
  • Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews on TrustPilot and Google.

Non-Commodity sales referrals and verified reviews are incentivised, with performance-based rewards available based on the number of qualified opportunities and reviews generated.

What we’re looking for

  • Someone with experience in both the energy industry and account management is preferable, although we are open to candidates who have strong experience in at least one of these areas,
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, and professional environment,
  • Capable of managing your own workload and setting clear priorities,
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a genuine passion to succeed,
  • Calm under pressure and able to exceed expectations when needed,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and articulate style,

  • Computer literate and a strong, collaborative team player.
