Customer Support Administrator

Due to internal promotion, Ainscough Crane Hire is looking for a Customer Support Administrator to join their successful team at Head Office in Standish, Wigan.

Job Purpose/Objectives:

To provide effective administration within the Business Support team, streamlining processes, liaising with depots, supporting business support functions, and ensuring adherence to procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Support and Sales teams with administrative tasks.
  • Identify and add sales leads to the CRM using market data.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system according to process.
  • Compile monthly market insight reports for executive review.
  • Assist in CRM data management.
  • Investigate and resolve queries.
  • Monitor crane usage and locations through a central system.
  • Handle miscellaneous calls and provide advice.
  • Manage multiple requests simultaneously.

Person Specification:

Education/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Minimum GCSEs or equivalent in Maths & English (desirable)
  • Experience in a team environment in an administrative role
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Understanding of working within a time-critical service environment

  • Proactive with excellent attention to detail
  • IT literate and comfortable with multiple systems
  • Influential and persuasive with flexibility
  • Organized and able to simplify complex issues
  • Effective communicator at all levels, both verbal and written
