Job description

Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire

Salary: up to GBP 28,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week

Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client provides businesses and homes with comprehensive fire, intruder, and security systems, which are individually designed. They are a trusted security systems provider for businesses and homeowners across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. With over 25 years of experience from their office on Casterton Road, Stamford, they have built a reputation based on their commitment to high-quality security standards.

The Role

This role involves customer support and assisting their engineering teams to ensure an excellent customer experience, supporting their field-based installation team (x 4) in installing and servicing intruder systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and gates and barriers. They seek a motivated individual looking for a long-term, permanent role in a well-established and reputable Stamford-based family company.

The Duties Include

  • Providing exceptional daily office/business support and coordination for their security engineers covering Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, and Rutland
  • Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring prompt and diligent support and advice
  • Using dedicated software and Microsoft applications to book work with detailed and accurate information for efficient engineer operations
  • Including technical details in bookings based on client or location records
  • Resolving issues, complaints, and problems professionally and promptly
  • Managing bookings and data records using Outlook and Excel
  • Reviewing and improving business processes and operational costs
  • Processing card payments over the phone and maintaining orderly records and receipts
  • Ordering tools and equipment as needed, monitoring orders and deliveries
  • Maintaining records for their fleet of vans and ensuring service schedules are adhered to
  • Performing other administrative tasks as required

About You

You should be an experienced administrator capable of providing first-class customer service. Due to the business nature, the successful candidate will need to undergo security screening/police checks. If you have relevant experience, they would love to hear from you.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in administration, customer service, or coordination
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with various applications, MS Office (including Excel), Teams, and databases
