Job Description:

A Customer Success Specialist is responsible for post-sales activities with new customers. You’ll translate technical information into understandable terms, resolve technical issues, add new features, and collaborate with the engineering team. As the first contact after initial sales, you’ll ensure customer satisfaction and product performance.

We expect a successful Customer Success Specialist to listen to customer and partner concerns, rephrase these concerns, and work with engineering to improve our products and services. The role advocates for both customers and the business.

This is a technical role; experience with installing operating systems (Windows and Linux), databases, and cloud services like Microsoft Azure is preferred. Whether you are a recent graduate or transitioning into a technical role, we provide comprehensive training to support your success.

  • Support the sales team and partners in technical qualification and evaluation.
  • Assist with tender responses and create technical solution proposals.
  • Conduct technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and product demonstrations.
  • Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and solution deployments, coordinating with other teams.
  • Create and improve project templates and manage customer projects and POCs.
  • Guide customers through installations, configurations, and solution validation.
  • Communicate product updates and plan seamless upgrades.
  • Support routine maintenance and upgrade processes.
  • Manage support requests with prioritization and clear communication.
  • Provide training to customers and partners as needed.
  • Document and log client enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate on updating architecture guides, training materials, and other documentation.
  • Host scheduled calls and remote sessions with key accounts.
  • Learn about Ascertia’s products, PKI, and regulations like EU eIDAS and GDPR.

Teamwork, communication, and feedback

  • Work collaboratively with other departments and support teams.
  • Identify product improvement areas and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Suggest product enhancements for easier deployment and higher resilience.

Flexibility is required to work when and where needed, ensuring high standards of presentation and customer satisfaction. The role demands good self-discipline and time management, with remote work and occasional travel. A friendly, helpful manner is essential.

Job Offer

Competitive salary with bonuses based on performance. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus 3 days at Christmas, an 8% employer and 5%+ employee SIPP pension, private medical cover, and 4x base salary death-in-service insurance. Business expenses are reimbursed. The role is home/remote-based with occasional travel within the UK and abroad. Normal hours are 09:00-17:30, with flexibility for different time zones.
