Part Time – Customer Services and Sales Administrator

We are working with an established, growing business based in Telford that is looking to recruit a Customer Services and Sales Administrator to join their team. You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Customer Service and Sales Coordinator to provide excellent customer service and sales support, ensuring the company's targets and objectives are met. Our client values responsibility and quality in work, acting in the best interests of colleagues and the company at all times.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, be a good team player with a positive outlook, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be conscientious, detail-oriented, willing to learn new skills, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer emails and monitoring the sales inbox.
  • Organising transport within the UK and internationally.
  • Handling customer queries promptly.
  • Entering sales orders and customer information into the CRM system.
  • Producing order acknowledgements.
  • Updating the Telford & EMEA sales dashboard.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training.
  • Performing your role to the best of your abilities and seeking help when needed.
  • Attending meetings and taking notes as required.
  • Providing prompt responses to customer queries via email and phone.
  • Performing any other tasks reasonably assigned by management.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure business efficiency.
  • Proactive attitude to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Effective workload and time management skills.
  • Experience working with colleagues in the US.
  • Experience entering sales orders and customer data into CRM systems and producing order acknowledgements.

  • Flexibility to perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by management.
