Job summary

Univar Solutions in Widnes is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Order Processor to be the first point of contact for customers and to manage the end-to-end order process.

You will operate in a hybrid role, coordinating with Account Managers, using CRM systems and SAP where applicable, and providing timely support across multiple channels. The role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, teamwork and a commitment to a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service across multiple channels.
• Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and resolve them promptly.
• Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office and CRM software (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Manager to nurture customer relationships and growth.
• Deliver outstanding service through proactive communication and understanding customer needs.
• Engage customers via telephone, email and CRM platforms to provide timely support.
• Manage end-to-end order processing, returns, and product recommendations.
• Own customer inquiries, prioritise and escalate issues to ensure high standards.
• Be the primary contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience at every touchpoint.

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers. As part of our Customer Service Team, you are the face of our business and essential in building loyalty and trust.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Partnering closely with the Account Manager to build strong, lasting relationships with a dedicated customer portfolio, supporting account retention and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Delivering exceptional customer service through open, proactive communication and developing a thorough understanding of each customer's unique requirements.
• Engaging with customers across multiple communication channels, including telephone, email, and CRM platforms, to provide timely and effective support.
• Managing the end-to-end order process, coordinating returns, identifying process improvement opportunities, and recommending alternative products or solutions to best meet customer needs.
• Taking ownership of customer enquiries and concerns, effectively prioritising and escalating issues where required, and ensuring they are resolved to a high standard.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a responsive, professional service and ensuring a seamless customer experience at every interaction.
