Salary: £27,000
Hours: 40 hrs a week (differing weekly shifts between 6am – 8pm) + weekend overtime (1 in 4 weeks)
Location: Sandhurst, Surrey. GU47 0PR

Job Description


We’re recruiting for candidates with proven administration and customer service skills to join our facilities helpdesk team in Sandhurst.

Based in Sandhurst at the Royal Military Academy, the team carries out the vital function of responding to Facilities Management requests from over 90 MOD sites and installations across the southeast. Ranging from Living accommodations to infrastructure critical to national defence. Call Handlers are responsible for managing incoming maintenance calls and emails, risk assessing faults, and arranging the most appropriate response from the contract partners and other internal teams. They will have the ability to develop strong relationships with the Site Teams and Contract Partners. And successful candidates will have a confident telephone manner and excellent attention to detail developed from previous experience in a telephone-based, call centre-like, or other customer facing environment. Previous helpdesk or facilities experience is not a requirement.

Responsibilities

•Delivering excellent service within an essential, diverse and exciting environment.
•Answering all incoming calls and monitoring email inbox
•Raising enquiries, defects and jobs and assign to maintenance team
•Logging jobs into CAFM system – Maximo
•Populating and updating spreadsheets
•Liaising with other staff members, including external contractors

Essential Qualifications/Skills

•Previous administration experience
•Excellent telephone manner
•Excellent attention to detail
•Risk assessment and Decision-making skills.
•Proficient IT Skills including MS Office (Outlook, Excel) + ability to pick up new systems
•A focus on teamwork and building strong relations with all stakeholders
