Job summary

Central England Coop is hiring for in-store roles across our busy stores. You’ll help customers at checkouts, on the shop floor, and in the in-store bakery, with responsibilities including housekeeping, date code checks, temperature checks, and general administration.

No prior experience required; full training and support are provided to help you grow. We welcome flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, and value every team member who helps us serve our communities and members

As part of a multi-skilled team, you will cover different and diverse tasks in a fast-paced and active setting. You'll support the daily running of the store, working on:

• Checkouts,
• The shop floor,
• Housekeeping,
• Date code checking,
• Temperature checks,
• Administration
• The in-store bakery.

You will promote the benefits of membership to customers, encouraging people to join and have a say in how we are run.

Some activities within our store operation have legal limits set on the age for which you can carry them out. For this reason, we may have to be more selective for some roles.
