OurCoop in the United Kingdom is looking for friendly team members to join our in-store staff. You'll support daily store operations across checkouts, shop floor, and the bakery, helping members and customers when they need us most.

No prior experience is required; we value a warm, helpful attitude and pride in presenting a neat appearance. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are available, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

What will you be doing?

As part of a multi-skilled team, you will cover different and diverse tasks in a fast-paced and active setting. You'll support the daily running of the store, working on:

• Checkouts,
• The shop floor,
• Housekeeping,
• Date code checking,
• Temperature checks,
• Administration
• The in-store bakery.

You will promote the benefits of membership to customers, encouraging people to join and have a say in how we are run.

Some activities within our store operation have legal limits set on the age for which you can carry them out. For this reason, we may have to be more selective for some roles. There are also legal restrictions on young person's working hours that may impact our decision-making during the selection process, based on business needs. How will I know if I am right for this role?

If you have flexibility in your working hours (including availability on evenings and weekends) our stores can offer you a wide variety of shifts.

You don't need any prior experience, you just need to show pride in your appearance and actions, be willing to learn, and have a desire to do and be your best.

You'll have a chance to work alongside the whole in-store team, passionate about delivering exceptional service every day, making sure we are there when our customers need us.

A warm and friendly character, you will love talking and listening to our customers, you'll actively play a part in the community spirit of the store and become a valued member of the Society.
