Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Services Advisor (Careers IAG) to join our Student Services Department to provide a high-quality impartial service to our learners. You will join us on a part time (18.5 hours), full year basis and in return will receive a salary of
£11,759 per annum (equivalent to a full-time salary of £23,519 per annum), plus staff benefits.

About the role: Working within the Careers and World of Work Team, you will assist our learners with advice and guidance to assist them in making informed choices about education, training and employment within the College’s Strategic Plan for Excellence.
What we are looking for in our role:

You will be computer literate and able to produce and upload digital content to various media platforms.Good spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Empathy with and ability to relate to young people.Highly organized, particularly under pressure.Ability to work and communicate effectively with colleagues and learners of all backgrounds and abilities.Awareness of issues relating to copyright, data protection, health and safety, and legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act.Sound knowledge of the Labour Market Index and progression routes for learners aged 16+
To apply, you must have:
-Experience providing high quality, impartial CEIAG within an FE setting
-A careers qualification in Advice or Guidance or similar discipline at Level 2 or above
-A careers good level of education including GCSE English and Maths
-Experience of working with relevant external services
-Knowledge of the UCAS process and learner support guidance
-Knowledge of post-16 and post-19 progression routes.
-Familiarity with digital communication systems, e.g. Teams
-Good administration skills, including the ability to use IT applications and record data accurately.
-Flexibility to work between campuses and occasionally participate in ‘out of hours’ events.
