Overview

Element has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Services Administrator in our busy laboratories based in Deeside. Element Deeside is the largest analytical chemistry laboratory within the Element Group and the market leading UK laboratory undertaking the testing of soils, waters, wastes, oils, NAPLs, ambient air, soil vapours and gases from all over the world. The laboratory undertakes high volume routine analysis as well as offering bespoke method development, technical support and hydrocarbon forensic interpretations to enhance the support we can deliver. The laboratory has an international reputation for service excellence and supports clients that require a higher level of technical expertise, reliability in data quality and seamless project management from sample collection to timely delivery of data in the format of choice.

Responsibilities
  • Front of house visitor greeting
  • Call handling of the incoming external call (average 120/day)
  • Full support for the administrative/invoicing team i.e. basic admin duties
  • Policing adherence to car parking rules and booking visitor spaces.
  • Ownership of the kitchenette and \'tuck shop\' (to replace vending machines, small energy saving, engagement benefit)
  • Ownership of locker key distribution & collection for all three Deeside buildings
  • Ownership (and policing) of meeting space, visitor lunch orders etc for all three Deeside buildings
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communicator with a confident manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Relevant experience within an office environment would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently with a pro-active approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality of work
