Job description

Your mission at LINDAL

Lindal Valve Co Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Technician for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with a strong potential to become permanent.

You will provide laboratory technical support and service for both internal and external customers, assisting with activities to achieve sign-off and approval of Lindal products and engaging with customers as needed.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Producing customer sample requests, valve and actuator specifications, and color matching.
  2. Conducting routine laboratory testing on component compatibility.
  3. Filling and gassing aerosol samples.
  4. Performing aerosol spray performance tests, including particle size, spray rates, and spray patterns.
  5. Carrying out mechanical testing such as stem and boss height measurement and valve inspection.
  6. Preparing and maintaining documentation related to laboratory testing activities.
  7. Generating analytical reports for discussion or presentation.
  8. Monitoring and maintaining stocks of lab consumables.
  9. Complying with work instructions and safety standards.
  10. Maintaining documentation related to ISO/BRC Procedures, Health and Safety, and Housekeeping.
  11. Supporting a culture of safety and cleanliness.
  12. Performing any other tasks as requested.

Your profile should include:

  1. Education to A Level standard in Chemistry, Physical Sciences, or related fields.
  2. Proficiency in PC skills and Microsoft Office.
  3. Experience in a laboratory setting.
  4. Strong customer interaction skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
