Customer Team Leader

Location: 76/78 Countesswells Road, Aberdeen, AB15 7YJ

Pay: £13.65 per hour

Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part-time

Working pattern: Shifts of 5:30am to 2pm or 2pm to 10:30pm including weekends, to be discussed at interview.

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you’ll need to authorise age-related sales.

We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. You will lead the store team by coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, deputise for the Store Manager, and perform various tasks like re-stocking shelves and cleaning spillages.

What you’ll do

  • Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service, support tasks on the post office counter, manage the store, and handle challenging situations.
  • Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture.
  • Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and operational.
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance shopping experience.
  • Support the store manager by deputising and delivering HR processes.
  • Introduce new products and services, implement changes, and encourage feedback.
  • Build community relationships and support local initiatives.
