About the role

This role places you at the forefront of our Business Centre. It is a fast-paced, challenging position that offers great exposure to our vibrant customer base, where you will influence the service we provide. You will manage a team of over 40 colleagues and serve as a Duty Manager at times throughout the week. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in Food Wholesaling within a successful team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring team compliance with legal standards and company procedures
  • Training your team in cash handling to minimize losses
  • Controlling debt and recovering overdue or failed payments
  • Maintaining accurate and timely payroll records
  • Engaging with customers to resolve issues and improve satisfaction
  • Liaising with department Supervisors to monitor delivery orders
  • Managing a customer-focused team in reception and checkout areas
You will need
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with supervisory or managerial experience
  • Practical retail trade experience
