Sales Administrator | Sheffield | Full Time | £27,000 Per Annum Plus depending on experience

Our client is a well-established small UK-based distribution, manufacturing and printing business; with over 50 years of history, they are offering a great opportunity due to an upcoming retirement. The company sells a wide range of specialist printing machines and consumables and is seeking a dedicated sales professional to join their team in the Sheffield office.

This position is perfect for someone looking to combine their passion for customer service and supervising skills, with the added benefit of being part of a respected, long-standing business.

  • Sales Department Experience: Worked in a fast-paced sales environment with direct customer interaction.
  • Proven Sales Success: Track record of delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
  • B2B Industrial Sales Experience: Involvement in business-to-business sales and managing client relationships.
  • Collaboration Skills: Worked with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Computer Knowledge: Have worked on a fully integrated CRM, SOP and POP computer system like SAP Business One as well as Outlook.
  • Supervisor Experience: Overseeing a small customer service team with the opportunity to develop the role.
What will your role look like?

  • Collaborate with the current employee before their retirement to gather key business insights.
  • Provide prompt, personalised responses to customer enquiries, orders, and shipping-related queries both for the UK and Ireland.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers across Europe to support seamless operations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, graphics, and production) to ensure timely order processing.
  • Supervise the rest of the customer service team to ensure excellent service.
