Job description

Have you ever spoken to someone in a customer service role and been really impressed with the person you ve spoken to? Do you think you could be a person to lead a team of individuals with this mindset?

A major, fast-moving Transport and Distribution Service is looking for a passionate Customer Service Supervisor to join their busy team.

With a customer base across the South West, the ethos of the business is to offer a second to none customer experience across every aspect of the business.

About the role: You will be part of a tight knit team on the front line of their customer experience programme, providing first class support to some of the largest names within the South West of England.

The main focus of this role is supervising the customer service department within our busy transport office. You'll supervise a small team of customer service advisors and ensure the customer base is kept happy and that customer calls and emails are seen to quickly.

As well as managing both internal and external relationships, you must be able to make quick decisions, prioritise your workload whilst remaining calm and managing situations to the mutual benefit of all parties.

About you:

Proven background in customer service (desirable)

Call centre background (advantageous, but not essential)

Microsoft Office and Email experience

Supervisory experience

Transport/Haulage Experience (advantageous,but not essential)

Astounding people skills

Experience working in a busy environment

Excellent communication skills to rival the best

Good listener with a passion for excellence

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Although a degree of flexibility is needed to meet the demands of the business.
