Qualifications

Job Description

Europcar is looking for a Customer Service Returns Assistant.

Would you like to be part of the Europcar team? Are you someone who enjoys customer-facing roles and working as part of a diverse team? We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant at our Edinburgh Airport location to join our vehicle returns team.

You will work in a fast-paced environment where the customer is at the center of everything we do. Your responsibilities include providing world-class customer service at every stage of the rental process, including assisting customers in our car parks at the beginning and end of their Europcar experience.

Your previous experience should demonstrate your passion for service and a calm approach to handling daily challenges in a busy customer environment.

Main duties:

• Work closely with all staff to ensure vehicles are received and returned in a timely manner.
• Maintain excellence in customer service and damage standards; achieve all KPIs in these areas.
• Complete all administration accurately according to operating procedures.
• Process workshop vehicles according to operating procedures.

Key skills required:

• A full, valid, clean driving licence with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is required.
• Excellent communication and face-to-face interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in working hours, including availability during the day, evenings, and weekends, with a variety of shifts available.
• Car rental/sales experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
