Job Description:

You must be fluent in another European Language - Business German, French or Spanish would be desirable.

This role is based in Worcester, Worcestershire.

The position reports to the Customer Service Manager. Candidates must be able to create an instant rapport with our customer base in an engaging, inquisitive, resourceful manner and must have proven experience in a front-facing role. Offering amazing customer service is extremely important to us; our customer interactions go far beyond traditional telephone support, such as email, live chat, web, and self-service. Customer support is more than just providing answers; it’s an important part of the promise Southco makes to its customers and focuses on creating a positive first impression, helping to drive business growth within the region. You should:

  • Respond and process requests from Customers, Distribution & Account Managers in a timely manner.
  • Expedite customers’ orders as required and liaise with Logistics and internal suppliers to ensure on-time shipments.
  • Develop relationships with existing customers by promoting Southco’s products and services. Follow up on requests for quotations and samples.
  • Build a strong relationship with our internal and external functions to help deliver ambitious sales strategies and achieve revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in German, Spanish, or French
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Proactive, with excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Business system experience (SAP is desirable)
  • Previous customer service experience would be desirable
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
