We are hiring exclusively for our client, a growing distributor, who are seeking a proactive and personable Customer Service Representative to join their Newry based team. The Role:

  • Manage the sales email inbox, responding to enquiries and processing sales orders
  • Verify customer and order details, including payment and delivery requirements
  • Deliver exceptional customer care, including product queries, availability, delivery updates, and complaint resolution
  • Provide technical and product support, offering suitable alternatives where needed
  • Support proactive telesales efforts and contribute to individual and team KPIs
  • Act as a point of contact for field sales reps and trade visitors
  • Assist with order entry, sample requests, stock updates and admin duties
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, warehouse and operations teams
  • Support general office administration and ad hoc duties as required

The Person – What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years’ experience in customer service, order processing or sales support
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and ideally an ERP system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, professional and enthusiastic with excellent telephone manner
  • Well organised, able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player with a proactive attitude
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above)
  • Willingness to learn technical product details over time

Desirable:

  • Previous work in a distribution/import environment
  • Driving licence and own transport
