Job description

This is an exciting time to join our Customer Services team at Rotherham Council. The way we deliver our services is changing - our customers want to be able to 'self-serve' at any time of day or night and have access to what they need at their fingertips. We are working hard to make this happen, delivering high quality customer service to a wide range of people with differing needs and preferences 24/7, 365 days a year.

Regardless of how our customers choose to contact us (telephone, face to face or online), we want to ensure that everyone experiences the same excellent service.

Job Role

We are looking to recruit several Customer Service Representatives to help us continue our journey. You will be an excellent communicator and be comfortable and confident in assisting and supporting customers to access services online. You will be able to work flexibly and be approachable, friendly and highly organised.

Above all, you will be passionate about our services, our ambitions and most importantly our customers.

Working Conditions

We operate within the Council’s Location Policy, offering a flexible approach to working with the option of working between our Riverside House office and home.

Benefits

We provide you with full training and 22 days per year annual leave (pro-rota for part time hours).
