Job Description

A company at Oxford Airport is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their friendly and professional team. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to passengers, crew, and visitors at the airport terminal, including meet and greet services, customer engagement, and lounge assistance. The successful candidate will ensure smooth airport operations while prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and assist visitors, passengers, and crew upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
  2. Monitor and manage computer systems to address customer requests promptly.
  3. Input flight data into AFIDS accurately and communicate changes to relevant departments.
  4. Meet inbound flights, assist with luggage, and perform escort duties, including limited baggage handling.
  5. Escort emergency vehicles airside following safety guidelines.
  6. Support passengers and crew in terminal lounges with refreshments and assistance.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and stock levels of terminal facilities, including refreshment machines and supplies.
  8. Handle meeting room bookings and arrange refreshments as needed.
  9. Notify security in advance of expected visitors to the terminal.
  10. Perform check-in duties for scheduled airline flights.
  11. Stay informed about relevant regulations, including DfT, CAA, and UKBA standards.
  12. Assist with emergency procedures as per the Aerodrome Manual.
  13. Prepare flight paperwork and ensure compliance with regulatory and airline requirements.
  14. Process payments for aircraft services and manage invoices, following up on late payments.
  15. Monitor aircraft schedules to ensure timely ground handling.
  16. Control airfield access and manage ground handling and customer service operations.
  17. Follow health, safety, and welfare guidelines, reporting hazards immediately.
  18. Perform any other duties within your skills and experience as required.

Requirements include strong communication skills, excellent administration abilities, multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to work shifts, and full training provided. Candidates must have their own transport due to the location and hours, with shifts planned six months in advance, including early mornings (6am-2:30pm), late shifts (2pm-10:30pm), and days off. The salary is £26,500, with 28 days holiday, a 5% pension contribution, a smart uniform, and a supportive team environment.
