The Customer Service Representative role will be based at HydraForce Hydraulics in Birmingham, England.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Efficiently manage designated customer base, liaising with customers regarding orders, delivery enquiries, and providing information to support customers and meet their needs.
  2. Check and process customer orders/sales orders/prototypes, including inputting orders into the MRP system.
  3. Resolve price queries with customers or Regional Sales Managers, ensuring quoted prices are implemented.
  4. Investigate, coordinate, and resolve pricing issues, credits, and invoice issues.
  5. Manage client accounts, taking steps to grow client spend.
  6. Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely processing/shipping of orders and resolution of queries.
  7. Ensure customer handover information is up to date for absences.
  8. Access customer websites for tasks like downloading orders, confirming shipping dates, and monitoring delivery performance.
  9. Maintain Business Management System certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and PED directive).
  10. Report customer trends, market information, and feedback to management.
  11. Manage all aspects of the customer order book, including reporting and feedback.
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
  • Experience with EDI & MRP systems preferred.
  • Background in Engineering/Manufacturing preferred.
  • Presentation and project management skills desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships and work under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic team player with initiative and flexibility.
