Job summary

Tesco PLC is hiring store colleagues in the United Kingdom. You will provide friendly customer service and support across store duties, helping shoppers and ensuring smooth store operations.

Flexible working arrangements are available, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. The role offers starting pay at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, and may include additional payments depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
