Job description

Are you an experienced Customer Service Planner with a background in social housing or contractor repairs? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of calls and ensuring customer satisfaction? If so, we want to hear from you!

We're looking for a dedicated and organised individual to join our growing team as a Customer Service Planner in Basildon. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of up to £27,500 per annum. Please note, this role requires full-time office-based work with no hybrid options available.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Planner, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for:

Handling high volumes of incoming calls and communicating effectively with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and supervisors.
Scheduling appointments efficiently to ensure our contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
Acting as a key back-office contact for residents, utilising various communication methods including telephony and email.
Using our MSi system to actively schedule available operatives and subcontractors for jobs.
Confidently addressing complex repairs, managing demanding customers, and resolving service failures to instil customer confidence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Previous administration experience.
Proven experience in scheduling/planning within a Social Housing or Contractor repairs environment.
Competence in communicating effectively with direct operatives, subcontractors, and residents.
Basic building maintenance knowledge, including the duration required for various tasks.
Strong planning knowledge regarding sequencing and concurrent works.
The ability to prioritise works and ensure work-in-progress jobs are within target.
Previous experience dealing with high volumes of calls and customer repair-related enquiries.
Excellent written & verbal English skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong organisation & communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders at different levels.
