Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious independent logistics operator with three divisions: Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, and Europa Warehouse. It has been featured in The Sunday Times Top Track for three years.

The group employs over 1,000 people across 15 sales and customer service sites in the UK, Ireland, and internationally, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, China, India, the UAE, and South Africa.

We are looking for a Customer Service Operator to join our Sheffield branch. You will build, manage, and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring that service levels and financial targets are met, under the guidance of the customer service manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for your assigned customer portfolio.
  • Providing updates to customers via phone or email.
  • Managing the customer service cycle from start to finish, ensuring compliance with HMRC customs regulations.
  • Offering quotes tailored to customer requirements.
  • Ensuring commodity codes and invoices are accurate and processed correctly.
  • Proactively engaging with existing customers to generate income.
  • Responding promptly to customer problems or concerns.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Confident personality with sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • At least 2 years of office experience; logistics industry experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
  • Interest in improving gross profit margins.
