About Our Client

Page Group are working with an industry leading Engineering & Manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a new Customer Service Manager at their offices in Doncaster. This role will manage and lead an internal service department, with responsibility for managing and planning engineer diaries

Job Description

  • Lead the internal customer service function delivering technical quotations to customers
  • Responsibility for planning and managing engineer diaries and workloads based of customer needs
  • Proactively plan installation and servicing in line with customer contractual agreements
  • Arrange and manage customer repairs and breakdowns in line with varying customer agreements
  • Use and manage all available resources to meet customer requirements in line with contractual agreements
  • Drive efficiency and profitability around engineer workload including first time fix
  • Manage customer order book liaising with manufacturing and purchasing, checking the progress of customer orders and keeping them informed

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a similar service management or customer service management role
  • Experience in an engineering focused environments
  • Experience working with or managing engineers
  • Excellent customer focused approach
  • Ability to managing varying customer contracts
