Job summary
BM Caterers in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Customer Service Assistant / General Assistant to join our catering team. This 40-hour week runs 5 days out of 7, with a focus on clean counters, well-stocked displays and delivering friendly service.
You’ll listen to instructions, communicate confidently with customers, and ensure a positive dining experience while following food safety practices. Experience in customer service, merchandising, and till handling is preferred.
Qualifications
- Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 certificates.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Good merchandising skills and till experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor counters and chillers, keep areas clean and well-presented.
- Communicate confidently with customers and take instructions from the manager.
- Provide prompt, efficient service and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Follow food safety procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
