Customer Service and Administration Specialist

This growing travel company specializes in selling worldwide tailormade holidays and is part of a larger travel group, making it an exciting team to join. As they expand, they are looking to enhance their customer service team.

Your main responsibility is to ensure clients' customers enjoy a seamless travel experience. You will handle post-booking inquiries, assist with itinerary changes, and keep travel plans updated, focusing on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Flight and Booking Management: Use Travelport/Galileo to manage flight changes and accurately enter and update bookings.
  2. Customer Service: Address post-booking inquiries promptly, serving as the primary contact for customer issues.
  3. Change and Cancellation Handling: Manage modifications efficiently to minimize customer inconvenience.
  4. Payment Processing: Securely handle customer payments with accuracy.
  5. Schedule Coordination: Manage and communicate schedule changes, rebooking when necessary.
  6. Ticketing and Documentation: Issue travel documents promptly and accurately.
  7. Administrative Support: Assist with various tasks to ensure smooth department operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience in the travel industry using Travelport/Galileo, preferably in operations, administration, or sales support roles. Experience as a Travel Consultant seeking a change is also suitable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Additional Information:

This is a hybrid role based in Hertfordshire, requiring 2 days in the office per week. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The team is friendly, the environment fast-paced, and the product exciting.
