As the Customer Service Executive, you will ensure the provision of a high-quality, proficient customer interface; prepare quotations and/or process customer orders/jobs; handle and resolve day-to-day customer queries and issues; and be an integral part of the European Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

  1. Work in the PGMS Products or PGMS Services Customer Service teams to deliver excellent customer service levels.
  2. Process customer orders and requests or quotations in accordance with customer requirements and established procedures to ensure timely delivery of services and goods.
  3. Collaborate with operational teams to facilitate high customer service levels, inform customers and internal stakeholders of potential issues or delays, and act as the voice of the customer internally.
  4. Coordinate with local sales offices, managers, and agents to support sales activities.
  5. Liaise with Metal Control, Finance, and Shipping teams to verify customer accounts, handle queries, and ensure transactions are processed correctly.
  6. Manage customer complaints actively, investigate thoroughly, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company procedures and systems, ensuring data accuracy and minimizing errors.

Requirements

  1. Experience in a sales or customer service environment with knowledge of sales systems (Essential).
  2. High numeracy skills and ability to perform precise mathematical calculations.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
  4. European language skills (German, French, Italian, Spanish) are advantageous.
