Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is hiring Customer Service Executives in Dumbarton to deliver outstanding customer experiences at the Renault/Dacia branch. You’ll learn our products, guide customers through the sales journey, and work with a supportive team to grow into car sales roles.

You’ll receive training, a set weekly rota including weekends, and opportunities for progression within the business. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with a positive attitude and clear communication.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to deliver outstanding service.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and clean licence record.
• Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Desire to progress within the role toward car sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the showroom and cars for the day ahead to present a polished image.
• Assist with showroom presentation and advertising to attract customers.
• Support the Sales department and deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Organise and accompany customers on test drives as needed.
• Learn about vehicles to advise customers and answer questions.
• Enhance the customer journey from enquiry to delivery and beyond.

Hours

You’ll work a five-day week on a set rota that includes weekends (38 hours per week).

About the role

At Arnold Clark you’ll be known as a Product Genius, but your role revolves around the customer experience. Our Product Geniuses are our in-branch experts. They are devoted to learning about our products and developing their communication skills, both in person and digitally, so they can help our customers make the right choice when they buy a vehicle. And that expertise develops further into understanding all elements of the sales journey – from enquiry, to sale, to delivery, and beyond.As part of a cohesive team, Product Geniuses will have the full support of the management team in branch.

This will be a great fit for a customer service superstar who is full of bright ideas about how to create an exceptional experience. You’ll get plenty of training, but we are looking for candidates with a thirst for knowledge and an ability to learn. We’d expect you to be a great team player, who is looking for clear career progression into car sales.

Day-to-day duties

• Preparing the showroom and cars for the day ahead
