Customer Service Coordinator – Telford (12-Month Contract)

Pay: £14.50–£15.50 per hour (via umbrella, 37.5 hours/week)

Location: Telford (onsite, Monday–Friday)

Contract: 12 months with strong potential to extend

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive Customer Service Coordinator to join a global technology business at their Telford site. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll play a vital part in ensuring customer orders run smoothly, suppliers are kept on track, and service levels are met. You’ll be the link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, making sure everything is delivered to the highest standard.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for customer queries, providing updates and solutions
  • Process and track customer orders, raising service requests with suppliers
  • Liaise with logistics and suppliers to ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide quotes and prepare simple customer documentation
  • Log all activity in the system for clear records and audits
  • Support purchasing tasks, including raising POs, processing invoices, and tracking deliveries

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service (admin or order-processing background a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel — including VLOOKUP or similar formulas)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Able to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Experience with procurement or supply chain operations (advantageous, not essential)
