A leading company is seeking a motivated Customer Service Coordinator for their ReadyMix team. This role involves processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring high-quality customer interactions. We are currently looking for a Customer Service Coordinatorto join our friendly ReadyMix team based at Tarmac Birtley Office in Chester-le-Street. As well as Birtley and Chester-le-Street this role is easily accessible from Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Consett, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Darlington, South Shields, Wallsend, Longbenton, Hexham, Alnwick, Morpeth and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager the Customer Service Coordinatorwill be responsible for processing orders and coordinating the day-to-day deliveries of ReadyMix concrete by vehicles owned and operated by Tarmac third party haulage base.

This role is a Monday - Friday role on a rotating shift pattern (7am – 4pm and 8am - 5pm) and Saturday mornings when required (approx once per month)
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Customer Service Coordinatorwill have worked in a similar industry providing support to a wider team. Whilst industry experience is preferred it is not essential. If you have proven customer service or distribution / route planning experience in an office based environment, and you enjoy working as part of a team then this role may be of interest.
