Job Opportunity: Customer Service Clerk

Time Appointments is working on behalf of a leading logistics specialist based in Felixstowe, currently recruiting for a Customer Service Clerk to join their thriving business. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied and dynamic operational environment with a wide scope of responsibilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and process all bookings from customers according to specified requirements and within designated timescales.
  2. Liaise with customers at all levels, maintaining a professional approach and image.
  3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all departments and customers.
  4. Manage daily customer activities in coordination with the Commercial department, adhering to company standards.
  5. Proactively identify and maximize sales opportunities within the customer base.
  6. Maintain high standards of customer care and ensure effective communication within agreed timelines.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in Transport and Logistics is preferred; however, customer-focused individuals interested in building a career in the industry will also be considered.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with confidence in liaising with clients and customers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage conflicting demands.
