Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant for a fast paced retail environment. You will help stock shelves, process payments and keep the store welcoming.

You’ll participate in coaching, safety training, and community activities while ensuring excellent service at all times. This role supports various store areas, including online and tills, and may involve Post Office Local duties where applicable, subject to background checks and policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service in a fast paced retail environment.
• Stocking shelves and processing payments.
• Following safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Know my customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Encourage customers to provide feedback via the 'have your say' survey.
• Work across store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Clock in and out to ensure accurate pay for the hours worked.
• Follow safety procedures and wear safety equipment where available.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events and create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Be knowledgeable about store performance and your role in delivering profit.
• Adhere to policies and treat customers and colleagues with respect.
• If the Post Office Local is present, undertake post office operations and pass background checks.
