Overview

As part of our next intake of apprentices, we are looking for a Customer Service and Business Support Assistant to join our team who will complete a Business Administration qualification.

DCS (Development Control Services) is one of Haymarket's highly successful brands based in Gloucester. Our team are experts in their field, producing industry-respected content. We are looking to work with someone passionate about delivering excellent service to our clients. We offer flexibility, collaboration, and an open and friendly culture.

This role allows you to work with a variety of customers, helping them access market-leading professional publications. As part of our award-winning Customer Service and Business Support team, you will ensure every customer, internal and external, receives outstanding service. Our apprenticeship provides close work with our editorial and sales teams, offering a well-rounded experience to kick-start your career.

We seek a talented individual to deliver first-class, professional service. The apprentice will develop excellent communication skills via face-to-face, web meetings, telephone, and email. We value results-driven individuals who want to embrace the Haymarket experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Assisting clients directly with enquiries via email, telephone, web meetings, and managing our shared inbox.
  2. Managing client subscriptions, processing renewals, new business, setting up trials, chasing unpaid amounts, and escalating to credit control if necessary.
  3. Supporting our sales team by providing reports and making changes to subscriptions.
  4. Performing editorial duties such as setting up bulletins and assisting with uploading appeals to our database.
  5. Database administration to ensure data accuracy and currency, promoting this as a key benefit.

Our blended working model includes 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely, fostering face-to-face collaboration and creativity.
