Job summary

SPAR - Balmullo is seeking friendly Customer Service Assistants to join our store team. You will deliver helpful, high-quality service to our local customers across early mornings, evenings and weekends.

You will unpack deliveries, restock shelves, promote offers, and operate the Food to Go counter. Flexible hours, 10% staff discount, training, equal opportunities and career progression are offered.

Our Customer Service Assistants work as a team; together we provide everything from tonight’s dinner to ‘Food to Go’, to the communities we serve.

We are open 7 days a week from early morning until late at night so flexibility is important; you might need to work some mornings, evenings and weekends.

About you…

We are looking to enhance our store team with great communicators and customer focused people who deliver friendly and efficient customer service every time. Although retail experience within the grocery sector is a plus, don’t worry it’s not essential as we’ll ensure that you have all the training you need to do an amazing job.

The fees we pay for our assignments vary depending upon the complexity of the task and therefore you’ll achieve a wage equivalent to the National Minimum Wage. Each of the visit fees are detailed on our Job Board. You will be working on a self-employed basis, so you will be responsible for paying your own National Insurance contributions and Tax.
