Job summary

Defence Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Customer Services Assistant in Swindon. This part-time role is contracted to 30 hours per week and offers a busy, friendly team environment where exceptional customer experience is valued.

You will prepare food, create attractive displays, handle cash, and ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards while representing Defence and maintaining the brand image.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or similar customer-facing roles preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, can-do attitude, and reliability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Safety-minded and compliant with health and safety standards.

If so, then we are looking for someone just like you to help us deliver exceptional customer experience for Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. As a Customer Services Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. Please note: This role is contracted to 50.2 weeks per year.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers

• Handling cash and operating the cash register
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
