Job summary

Tenpin in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our lively team. You will manage reception bookings, answer enquiries, host events, serve food and drinks, and help keep the centre welcoming and running smoothly.

You’ll work across departments—from Laser Arena to Escape Rooms and karaoke rooms—staying proactive, friendly, and focused on delivering great customer experiences, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Must be over 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception bookings and answer enquiries.
• Identify sales opportunities and host events.
• Serve food and drinks and keep the centre clean.
• Collaborate across departments (Laser Arena, Escape Rooms, karaoke).
• Provide a friendly and proactive customer experience.

The Role

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll provide an excellent customer experience by managing reception bookings, answering enquiries, identifying sales opportunities, hosting events, serving food and drinks, and keeping the centre clean, welcoming and running smoothly.

You'll work across various departments, from running the Laser Arena and hosting Escape Room experiences to managing karaoke rooms, and hosting children’s parties. Every day will bring something new, keeping the fun flowing!

You should be efficient, proactive, friendly, and confident in customer interactions, with exceptional service as your priority.

Skills You Need

• Determined, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and a \"nothing is too much trouble\" attitude
• Fully flexible, including evenings and weekends
• Approachable, helpful, organised and a strong team player, with good attention to detail
