My client is a roofing specialist sub- contractor, that are in the market for a Customer Service Assistant to join their team. The position requires an astute, organised individual to join their team. My client would prefer candidates with construction or building materials experience. Understanding the process of ordering and checking against product specifications.

Main Purpose of Role:

Provide sales support and Project prices to Customers and External Sales teams on building materials product.
Key Tasks:

Specific duties would include:
• Producing and Issuing project Quotations.
• Checking project margins.
• Checking specifications against customer requirements.
• Responding to verbal pricing requests and product information.
• Responding to customer emails
• Assisting the customer service team.
• Dealing with estimating and customer service phone calls

Key Requirements for Role:
• Maintain high levels of communication different departments within the Company.
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced department with tight deadlines.
• You should have 3 GCSE's at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, and possess good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and develop relationships
• Competent at intermediate /advanced level in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to have a flexible approach to duties.
