Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Customer Services Assistant - Zero Hours to support Defence operations on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week. The role covers general facilities duties, contractor coordination and site upkeep.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with reliability and a proactive approach, able to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Exterior site maintenance and general upkeep of the building.
• Assist facilities team with contractor sign-in/out and policy compliance.
• Open and/or close the building as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Customer Services Assistant - Zero Hours to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
