How will we support you?

From the start, you’ll be supported in your development through our Certificate in Merchanting Programme, a 12-month Apprenticeship designed to equip you with success tools. During your apprenticeship, you'll explore:

Our apprenticeships focus on your development, including study time within your workweek, enabling you to achieve your qualification without sacrificing work-life balance. We provide support through coaching, mentoring, and technical training, with opportunities for career progression up to executive levels.

What will you be doing?

Every day is unique in Branch life at Travis Perkins. You will gain exposure across various areas, helping you identify your strengths and career interests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with customers at the trade counter to build lasting relationships
• Supporting customers with their purchases, providing product information, preparing quotes, fulfilling orders, or taking sales over the phone
• Working with a friendly team to deliver the 5-star service expected from us
