Customer Service Agent

Full-Time | Southend on Sea | £25-28,000 PA | 22nd September Start

Join a leading UK travel insurance provider where your work genuinely makes a difference. This is your opportunity to support customers who need expert advice and reassurance, particularly those with medical conditions looking to travel with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver friendly, expert service to customers, including those with pre-existing medical conditions
  • Handle a wide range of queries by phone, email, or chat
  • Guide customers through policies and claims processes
  • Meet service and quality targets such as first-call resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with training, industry regulations, and internal processes
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement

  • Experience in customer service or a contact centre environment
  • Comfortable working with performance targets
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
  • Confident using systems and managing multiple tasks

Working Hours:

  • To meet customer needs, flexibility is essential once training is complete:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • You’ll work 1 in 2 weekends (either Saturday or Sunday), with a day off in the week in return.
