We focus on high-quality service, often supporting vulnerable populations. As a Customer Service Advisor within Lincolnshire County Council, you will be part of the Adult Care Teams at the Care & Wellbeing Hub, based at Lancaster House, Lincoln.

The Customer Service Centre is the first point of contact for many Lincolnshire County Council services, including Adult Care, Children’s Services, Highways, Registration & Celebratory Services, and Library Services. Your role involves handling diverse and sometimes complex inquiries via telephone and email, providing information, advice, and support for safeguarding, service access, and other needs.

The Opportunity

We are hiring multiple vacancies in our Adult Care Teams. Using a strength-based approach, you will assist the public and professionals, gathering relevant information and determining appropriate outcomes, often dealing with sensitive and emotional issues.

About you

You should be passionate, customer-focused, and experienced in a busy customer service environment. Experience in social care is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Strong typing and IT skills are required to efficiently manage contacts.

Workplace and Hours

Offices are located in Lincoln City Centre at Lancaster House, with flexible working options after training. During training, you will work five days a week for three weeks. The role requires flexibility to work between 8am and 8pm on weekdays, and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays, with potential changes based on service needs.

Training and Benefits

Full Serco induction and ongoing training will be provided. Benefits include a competitive salary, pension scheme, agile working, annual leave plus the option to purchase additional days, employee support services, participation in engagement activities, and discounts on various services and products.
