Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £15.73 PAYE (Inclusive of Holiday Pay) | £18.78 LTD Umbrella

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week

Type: Temporary Ongoing (6 Months)

Location: Solihull, B37

Start Date: ASAP


Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and making a difference in your community? We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and dynamic Contact Centre team, supporting residents and stakeholders across a wide range of housing-related services. This is a great opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation committed to service excellence and continuous improvement.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver excellent customer service across calls, emails, voicemails, and texts in line with service standards.
  2. Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to gather necessary information for customer campaigns.
  3. Resolve queries at the first point of contact whenever possible.
  4. Accurately update systems and maintain campaign data.
  5. Manage fluctuating workloads effectively, especially during high-demand periods.
  6. Support continuous service improvements by challenging existing procedures and sharing knowledge.
  7. Collaborate closely with colleagues to improve team and personal performance.
  8. Complete outbound activities in line with team goals and objectives.
  9. Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Proficient in numeracy and literacy (GCSE pass or equivalent).
  2. Excellent communication, customer care, and interpersonal skills.
  3. IT literate, with a working knowledge of information systems, databases, and Microsoft packages.
  4. Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  5. Experience in customer service, ideally in a Contact Centre environment.
  6. Understanding of data protection and information security standards.
  7. Knowledge of housing services is desirable but not essential.
